Over the last three years we here at CIC have felt that God has had us on a journey to catch His heartbeat for the world we live in. The following is a video presentation shown at our Vision Sunday gathering that outlines our journey so far.

Who Are We ?

There are many different types and style of church in our world today. All Christian churches share a common mission and key points of theology, but from that point on, diversity is the order of the day.

The following list of distinctives is our attempt to describe what we believe is God's unique thumbprint for this particular local church ...

The Cafe

Just as you come into our facilities there is a cafe area where we gather both before and after our services. Feel free to come and enjoy our hospitality after any gathering.

Connect BBQs

We all need opportunities to connect with people outside of church gatherings, so we regularly have BBQs for those who want to come and meet other people in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Why We Sing Songs ?

Music plays a big part of any culture. It's been used by us as a means of expressing feelings, thoughts and attitudes about nearly any subject. In the same way we use music to express our thanks to God; this is not a new idea. A lot of the Psalms in the bible were written to be accompanied by music. Because we live in the 21st century we have joined the music of our culture to words that declare how amazing God is to us.

Where Do I Park ?

When you arrive at our facilities, just look out for one of our car park attendants who will direct you to a parking space as near to our entrance as we can get you. Our visitor parking bays are right in front of the main entrance to the building and are sign posted.

The Journey so far ...

Phil and Caroline became the senior leaders of City International Church in January 2000. With their induction came a new beginning for the small group of people who called CIC their spiritual home at the time.

Our vision was to be a group of people that would bring the good news of Jesus in action, service and words. We just looked for where we could help and tried to meet that need in His name.

Giving

CIC's financial support comes from the people who attend, not by a denomination, so the generosity of those who attend CIC is what pays for the upkeep of the facilities we meet in, as well as covering the wages of those full time workers at CIC. Their giving also provides the resources to assist those who we come across in the community that need our help.
